A STUDENT who put her virginity up for auction online now claims she never planned to go through with it.

Nicole, 18, says she was offered a six-figure sum after photographs of her posing in lingerie appeared on an escort service website to advertise the sale.

Now the escort agency Elite Models VIP has slammed Nicole -  not her real name - as  a "big cheat" and says they were never told she wanted to cancel the auction.

The part-time model, from Italy, had last week contacted The Sun Online and revealed her plans to sell off her virginity to the highest bidder.

In a pre-recorded video message sent to our reporter, which she appears to have filmed from her bedroom, she claimed the funds would buy a property for her parents and put her through university.

But the teen has now backtracked and claims she never intended to go through with the deal.

Speaking to La 27 Ora, she said her parents had been left "speechless" after finding out about the auction.

She said: "I did a stupid thing of which I'm deeply ashamed and if I could turn back time I wouldn't do it again but I didn't do it to flaunt myself."

She added: "It started on (sic) a dare. I wanted to see if someone would really be prepared to spend money on such a thing."

She had previously said that the news would "destroy" her parents if they found out.

The teen also backtracked on her previous claims that she had been thinking about selling her virginity by the age of 16.

She described the situation as a "nightmare" and said she was being inundated with calls from the escort agency trying to sign off on the highest bidder.

But the agency denied that they were harassing her and said that, while they have now cancelled the auction, she had told them on Saturday that she was going through with the deal.

The site confirmed that the bids had reached £1.4 million (€1.6 million) and that she was told this on Saturday.

It read: “She didn't tell us a thing about this news or ask for removal of her advert. We only informed her about the auction status and asked her for payment details to proceed as she wanted to accept the offer, that's all.

“She told us that she was very interested on this bid, and she wanted to go on with the auction and sell it asap."

Nicole, who used a pseudonym so as not to reveal her true identity, had previously claimed that she wanted to move to the UK and study business at Cambridge University after splitting with an older man.

Speaking when she first contacted The Sun Online to reveal her virginity auction plans, she said: "I wanted a good education so I started looking on the web for ways to finance my studies and I came across a series of auction adverts and found there were girls who had sold themselves for £3.1 million (€3.5 million) so I decided I would do the same when I turned 18.

“I hope to get as much as possible to fund my studies, to help my sister and my family, and buy my parents a house.

“There are a lot of men interested who are writing to the agency and the highest offer we have at the moment is €1m (£890,000).”

The young woman had provided documents proving her identity and age when speaking with The Sun.

The auction was listed on European website Elite Models VIP - not to be confused with Elite Models in the UK.

The site boasts “exclusive international escorts” and claims to “provide a luxury escort service for selective gentlemen worldwide.”

It currently has five “virgin escorts” on the books.

The site promises to let a doctor, selected by the client, verify the girls’ virginity before they spend the night together.

Previously speaking about her decision, Nicole said she had a "little bit of fear" but added: “I am quite nervous but I am also quite confident because if a man is disposed to pay so much for you, he will certainly be a kind person. I’m sure we will have a great time together."

At the time of the interview with The Sun Online, which she did not receive payment for, Nicole had admitted to keeping the auction a secret from her parents.

At the time, she said: “I don’t want my parents to know about this because they are very strict and they wouldn’t approve and even my friends don’t know anything about it.

“My family would be destroyed if they knew.  If they discover one day I will talk to them and hopefully they will understand.”

In their statement Elite Models added: “We had NO idea that this was a ‘joke’.  Nor did she ask us to cancel the auction, although it's true that she was worried about her parents.

“We have now cancelled her auction and her page on our site.

“Since we are an advertising platform any advertiser can cancel her publication anytime and she is aware of that, but she didn't even ask us to remove her auction.

“From the beginning, she told us the story that she wanted to fund her studies and help her family because of her economic situation, which we believed.

“She was very convincing in her speech, and after many interviews with her we decided to accept her on our site.

“Unfortunately for us as an agency all this was a big cheat to become famous.”

In November, model Giselle sold her virginity to a businessman for £2 million.

A British woman of 26 also revealed she was hoping to raise millions by selling her virginity to the highest bidder.
